Three Waters Event Steart Marshes
Join artists Simone Einfalt and Ralph Hoyte to experience interactive sounds and moving images, representing the environments at Steart Marshes.
Simone Einfalt and Ralph Hoyte’s collaboration The Three Waters is an experiment in using interactive sound and moving image to respond to the liminal salt marsh environment of Steart Marshes. The Three Waters are Salt, Brackish and Fresh, with each Water becoming a character in its own right representing the ever changing habitats. Visitors are invited to book in for one of the collective sound experiences mediated by linked autonomous speaker units on the marsh itself, and are also invited to visit the upcoming unique audio-visual gallery installations at East Quay and Bridgwater Art Centre between December 2026 - February 2027.
Please note – we will be working outside on the nature reserve, so dress accordingly, sturdy shoes are recommended.
