Caerlaverock Dragonfly Hotspot Walk
Take an expert-guided walk to explore the secret lives of dragonflies and discover more about these ancient wonders of wetlands.
The British Dragonfly Society reps will be on hand to help as you use nets and ID guides to catch and identify dragonflies. Species to look for will include common darter, four-spotted chaser, emperor dragonfly, banded demoiselle, blue-tailed damselfly and azure damselfly. There will also be pond dipping to find some dragonfly larvae.
